Blue Jays place Marcus Stroman (shoulder) on the 10-day disabled list
Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Marcus Stroman has been placed on the 10-day disabled list.
Stroman is dealing with fatigue in his right shoulder, and he's on the disabled list retroactive to May 9, making him eligible to return next Saturday. Either Joe Biagini or Sam Gaviglio will likely replace him in the rotation for the time being.
Stroman has struggled to the tune of a 7.71 ERA, 4.30 SIERA and 1.71 WHIP with an 18.2% strikeout rate and 10.2% walk rate through 7 starts in 2018.
