Scott Alexander OUT

Scott Alexander starting for Dodgers on Friday

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Scott Alexander will start Friday's game against the Colorado Rockies.

What It Means:

Alexander hasn't made any starts this season, so chances are he'll be just be used over the first inning or so as an "opener" like the Tampa Bay Rays have been doing with some of their relief pitchers. Dennis Santana would presumably be the next man in after Alexander.

Alexander has posted a 4.05 ERA and 1.50 WHIP over 20 innings this season.
