Giants' Kelby Tomlinson optioned to Triple-A Sacramento
San Francisco Giants second baseman Kelby Tomlinson has been optioned to Triple-A Sacramento to make room for pitcher Johnny Cueto.
What It Means:
He'll likely be one of the first players recalled from the minors should anybody on the Giants have to go on the disabled list.
Tomlinson was hitting just .221 with a paltry .559 OPS before being sent down.
