Vince Velasquez (forearm) activated, starting for Phillies on Wednesday
Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Vince Velasquez is active from the 10-day disabled list and starting on Wednesday against the New York Mets.
Velasquez missed the minimum 10 days with a right forearm contusion. The 26-year-old is 5-8 with a 4.69 ERA and he's struck out 107 batters across 88 1/3 innings. Enyel De Los Santos has been optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley in a corresponding roster move after his MLB debut on Wednesday.
