Braves place closer Arodys Vizcaino (shoulder) on DL
The Atlanta Braves have placed closing pitcher Arodys Vizcaino on the 10-day disabled list.
Vizcaino complained of shoulder soreness to manager Brian Snitker, and it's the same one he missed two weeks for back in June. He should get a nice rest over the break, but in the meantime we should see A.J. Minter step into the closer's role.
In 27 appearances, the 27-year-old has racked up 15 saves with 34 strikeouts and a 1.65 ERA.
