Cardinals' Daniel Poncedeleon spins no-hitter through seven in debut, sent back to Memphis

St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Daniel Poncedeleon has been optioned back to Triple-A Memphis.

What It Means:

Poncedeleon twirled seven innings of no-hit ball in his major league debut on Monday against the Cincinnati Reds, but the Cardinals opted to switch him out with fellow right-hander Austin Gomber, who will make his first major league start on Tuesday in Cincinnati.

Poncedeleon racked up 34.0 FanDuel points in his debut.
