The San Francisco Giants have optioned infielder Kelby Tomlinson to Triple-A Sacramento.
What It Means:
This is nothing new for Tomlinson, who has been sent down to and recalled from Sacramento multiple times this season. If another injury were to hit San Francisco, he's one of the likeliest names to head back to the Majors.
Tomlinson is hitting .225 with 4 doubles, 2 triples, 8 walks, and 10 RBI this season.
