Nick Tropeano exits Angels' win early with shoulder tightness
Los Angeles Angels pitcher Nick Tropeano departed Monday's start against the Detroit Tigers with right shoulder tightness.
Tropeano will be re-evaluated in two days, but for now, there's some hope he will be able to make his next scheduled start on Sunday against the Oakland Athletics. The right-hander, who turns 28 later this month, has already been on the disabled list twice this season with shoulder problems.
Tropeano limited the Tigers to 1 run on 1 hit with 4 strikeouts and 1 walk over five innings on Monday before leaving. He's up to 5-6 on the season, with a 4.74 ERA and 64 strikeouts across 76 innings.
