Trevor Bauer (leg) lands on Cleveland's DL with stress fracture

Cleveland Indians pitcher Trevor Bauer (leg) has been diagnosed with a stress fracture of his right fibula and has been placed on the DL.

What It Means:

Bauer was hit right above his right ankle by a line drive on Saturday, and further examinations revealed the fracture. There is no timetable for the pitcher's return as the club gathers more information. Adam Plutko is taking Bauer's spot in the rotation for now with Tyler Olson called up to fill his roster spot.
