Brewers trade pitcher Aaron Brooks to Athletics
The Milwaukee Brewers have traded pitcher Aaron Brooks to the Oakland Athletics for cash.
What It Means:
The A's look likely to make the playoffs, but they are dealing with numerous injuries to their pitchers, so it makes sense to see them bolstering their staff. Brooks previously pitched for Oakland in 2015.
Brooks has spent the season at Triple-A Colorado Springs, where he has compiled a 9-4 record, 3.35 ERA, and 1.29 WHIP in 99 1/3 innings this season.
