Luis Perdomo (shoulder) activated by Padres
San Diego Padres pitcher Luis Perdomo is back with the team following a month-long stint on the disabled list.
Perdomo's shoulder has kept him on the shelf since late July, but he's back with the team ahead of its series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He'll start in a long-relief role, but Perdomo could be in store for a few starts going forward.
In 39.7 innings pitched across 25 games so far this season, Perdomo has a 7.94 ERA with a 2.04 WHIP.
