NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Saturday 5/25/19

If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. Let's take a look at who you should target on today's one-game slate, which follows a different format than typical NBA contests on FanDuel. Your lineup consists of five position-less slots, with one designated "MVP" having their fantasy score multiplied by 2.0, a "STAR" multiplied by 1.5 and a "PRO" multiplied by 1.2, as well as two utility slots receiving their usual points.

Giannis Antetokounmpo ($17,500)

Well, the public perception has shifted a bit, and people are a little down on Giannis due to the three losses in a row to the Toronto Raptors. Because of that, we may see some people shifting to Kawhi Leonard for the MVP spot. Giannis is also priced $1,500 higher than Kawhi, making him a bit harder to plug in and still have enough salary to make a roster you feel confident in. But if the Milwaukee Bucks are able to turn this series around, it likely will be due to Giannis having a huge night. He's been a DFS monster in this series, putting up at least 52.5 FanDuel points in each of the first four games (with "just" 41.2 in Game 5), and no one else can touch his massive ceiling.
