DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Helper: Wednesday 11/6/19

Wednesday's nine-game schedule is highlighted by two ESPN games -- as the Golden State Warriors take on the Houston Rockets at 7 PM ET and the Milwaukee Bucks visit the Los Angeles Clippers at 10 PM ET. Tonight's slate leaves us with a lot of options in DFS, so let's take a look at how to narrow down all those possibilities.

Here are some of the top plays and sleepers on DraftKings. As always, good luck.

Point Guard

Russell Westbrook ($9,400) -- Westbrook is back after sitting Monday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies due to load management. On Sunday in Miami, Westbrook had just 10 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds on 3 of 11 shooting and 1 for 6 from three. Harden handled his load and more in the win over Memphis sans Westbrook. Golden State just beat the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday, so Houston can't take the Warriors lightly. Russ is shooting at a 43.8 percent clip this year to go along with averages of 21.2 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 9.2 assists in six games.

Malcolm Brogdon ($8,100) -- I keep waiting for Brogdon to slow down, but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen. He scored a season-high 31 points against the Hornets last night and has posted at least 15 points and 6 assists in seven straight games for the Pacers. He will be asked to carry the load once again on the second hand of Indiana's first back-to-back of the season. Victor Oladipo won't return anytime soon, so Indiana's big free agent acquisition will have free reign tonight versus the Washington Wizards.

Shooting Guard

James Harden ($11,200) -- Without Russ, Harden scored 44 points on Memphis, he also added 10 rebounds and dished out 6 assists on 12 of 28 shooting in 37 minutes. Harden shot a game-high 16 three-point attempts, knocking down seven (.438). Harden is averaging 13.6 three-pointers a game. Westbrook is expected back for Houston's matchup with the Warriors. Harden continues to have the highest player usage rating in the league (39.8), while Westbrook is 42nd (27.0). Expect the duo to exceed their current combined averages of 57.8 points, 16.6 assists, and 14.9 rebounds against the Warriors.

Louis Williams ($6,500) -- Kawhi Leonard is out of the lineup tonight, which means Lou Williams can light it up. Among players with 100 minutes or more, Williams is 18th in player usage rating (28.8). The three-time sixth man of the year is averaging 20.3 points and 4.7 assists per night off the bench for the Clippers. Williams scored 20 or more points in five straight games before posting 12 and 17 over his last two games. Look for Williams to lead the offense tonight without and eclipse his average of 20.3 points.

Small Forward

Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,700) -- The Bucks travel to Staples Center for a showdown with the Clippers tonight, who will be without star Kawhi Leonard in the lineup, due to load management -- again. The Bucks can steal a game in L.A. behind Giannis' excellent play lately. The Greek Freak had 34 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 assists in Monday's 28-point win over Minnesota. He's had two-straight fantasy performances of 61 points or more, and has three fantasy outings of 70 points or more in seven games. Giannis is a must-play with Leonard out.

Eric Paschall ($6,500) -- Paschall burst onto the scene for the Warriors and led them to a win over Portland on Monday when no one expected it. Paschall had 34 points and 13 rebounds on 11 of 19 shooting in 40 minutes. He was 8 for 8 from the free throw line and 4 of 6 from deep, making him an all-around threat replacing Draymond Green in the lineup. He holds a lot of upside at $6,500, especially if D'Angelo Russell is out of the lineup again.

Power Forward

Montrezl Harrell ($6,200) -- Harrell and Williams will get big minutes tonight with Leonard out of the lineup. Harrell has had at least 31 fantasy points and 25 minutes played in five of seven games this season. Harrell has continued to back up Ivica Zubac ($4,100), but has outplayed him, and tonight will be another case of that. in his last two games, he's averaging 21.5 points and 6 rebounds on 16 of 21 shooting (76%) -- both of them wins. With Leonard out against the Utah Jazz, Harrell posted 10 points and 2 rebounds in a season-low 14 minutes off the bench.

Wendell Carter Jr. ($5,900) -- Carter Jr. has quietly put together three straight double-doubles. Tonight, the Bulls play the Atlanta Hawks, who are on a back-to-back without John Collins, who's serving a 25-game suspension. This opens up the interior for Carter and Lauri Markkanen ($6,400), who's been struggling mightily. I like Carter's upside tonight, and he should be able to grab his fourth straight double-double against Alex Len ($4,200). Chicago is eighth in points in the paint (50.0) and fifth in second-chance points (14.8), so Carter Jr. should have plenty of chances.

Center

Thomas Bryant ($6,800) -- Bryant had his toughest challenge of the season thus far guarding Andre Drummond ($10,800) in Washington's victory over the Pistons. That said, Bryant has had three double-doubles this season and at least seven rebounds in every game. Look for him to be a focal point in the offense after the Wizards had the night off yesterday, whereas Indiana lost to the Hornets in overtime.

Joel Embiid ($9,500) -- Embiid sat out the past two games after being suspended for his confrontation with Karl-Anthony Towns ($10,000). The 76ers went 1-1 without him, beating the Blazers on the road by one in overtime, and losing to the Phoenix Suns at home by five. Embiid returns tonight and draws the two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year, Rudy Gobert ($7,600). In the last two seasons, Embiid has averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds in four games against the Utah Jazz. Embiid should be well-rested, so he will be ready to go on the road with his team looking to avoid two-straight losses. Look for Al Horford ($6,400) to help take away some of the stress of Gobert's defense.
