5 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 11/6/19

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-priced options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at five players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup

Danuel House, SF, Houston Rockets ($5,000)

With an over/under sitting around 230 points, the Golden State Warriors at Houston Rockets game has plenty of fantasy potential.

As of now, the Rockets have Eric Gordon listed as questionable for this game -- and if he does sit out -- it should open up some extra usage in the offense for House. We know that James Harden, Russell Westbrook, and even Clint Capela take up the majority of the offensive usage for the Rockets, but the secondary scorers still play a decent role, especially in a game when the over/under is this high.

Danuel House Jr. has played 28 minutes or more in four of his last five games, posted 26 FanDuel points or more in three of those four games, while scoring in double-digit real points in four straight games. He is a legit solid secondary scorer for the Rockets and is producing 0.95 FanDuel points per minute this season while Gordon is off the court.

Josh Okogie, SF, Minnesota Timberwolves ($3,900)

The Minnesota Timberwolves are getting Karl-Anthony Towns back tonight but also have a few injuries at the guard spot.

Both Jeff Teague and Shabazz Napier are listed as questionable and doubtful for this game, meaning Minnesota needs some help at point guard. This could present an opening for Josh Okogie, and if he's starting or seeing extra minutes at point guard tonight, this is something we need to attack against the Memphis Grizzlies, who are allowing 55.9 FanDuel points per game to point guards -- the third-most in the league.

Okogie has played 21 minutes or more in four of his last five games, posting 20 FanDuel points or more in four of those five games as well. He has a modest role in the offense, which should be increasing if he is given the chance at point guard tonight. The over/under is set at 223 points, and we have both teams sitting in the top-four of fastest-paced teams this season -- plenty of back and forth action, plenty of scoring, and plenty of fantasy points.

JaMychal Green, PF, Los Angeles Clippers ($4,000)

A massive over/under of 227.5 points should give us a clear game to target for fantasy production.

The Los Angeles Clippers announced yesterday that Kawhi Leonard is out for tonight's game, which changes things for their offense. Back on October 30th, Kawhi sat out and we saw JaMychal Green post his best game of the season, which is what we are hoping for again tonight. When Leonard is off the court this season, Green sees a 1.2% increase in his offensive usage, along with posting an extra 0.15 FanDuel points per minute.

Now, I know what you're thinking. That isn't amazing production, but do we really need a massive game from Green? I would say no, since he is only $4K tonight and should be looking for 20 FanDuel points, which would have him reaching 5x salary based expectations.

Green is up against the Milwaukee Bucks, who are allowing 41.6 FanDuel points per game to power forwards, and with a super-high over/under, Green should be able to reach for another big performance.

Markieff Morris, SF, Detroit Pistons ($4,300)

The Morris brothers are facing each other tonight, but we want to side with Markieff Morris.

It will be a trend all season long to attack the New York Knicks, as they are one of the worst teams on defense. Morris comes in as our second-best value at small forward tonight, projected for 29 minutes and 24 FanDuel points. An over/under of 207 points isn't high by any means, but with the Knicks allowing nearly 40 FanDuel points per game to small forwards, we want to attack them regardless of game environment.

He is carrying an 18.8% usage rate within the offense -- which is the fourth-highest on the team -- along with posting 0.60 FanDuel points per minute.

Dillon Brooks, SG, Memphis Grizzlies ($4,400)

As mentioned above, this game between the Timberwolves and Grizzlies is going to be amazing for fantasy scoring, so let's find another cheaper option.

Dillon Brooks comes in as our fifth-best value option at shooting guard tonight, in the mid-$4K range and playing plenty of minutes. He is over 29 minutes in three of his last five games, posting 20 or more FanDuel points in four straight games, and he's projected to be in the same spot tonight.

The Timberwolves are allowing 38.4 FanDuel points per game to shooting guards this season -- which is in the top half of the league -- but not something we need to truly worry about tonight.

Both teams are amongst the top-four fastest-paced teams, which should allow for a free-flowing game with ample opportunities to score. Brooks has the fourth-highest usage rate on the Grizzlies, giving him the necessary touches to reach or exceed value.
