DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Helper: Tuesday 11/12/19

Is Malcolm Brogdon someone you should be rostering on DraftKings tonight?

With eight games to choose from on tonight's NBA slate, let's take a look at how to narrow down the DFS possibilities. Here are some of the top plays and sleepers on DraftKings. As always, good luck.

Point Guard

Malcolm Brogdon ($7,600) -- Brogdon has yet to score 20 points in his last three games, but at home against Chris Paul ($6,700) and the Oklahoma City Thunder, this is a good opportunity for Brogdon. He's third in the NBA in assists with 8.9 per game and is averaging a career-high 20.8 points a night. The Brogdon-Sabonis pairing has been the number one reason why the Pacers have a winning record. Brogdon is ranked 28th in player usage rating (26.4%) and our model projects Brogdon with 19.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists.

Damian Lillard (9,500) -- Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers got back on the winning side in overtime against Atlanta after a four-game losing streak. Lillard is averaging 36.8 points a game over the his last five, including Portland's new franchise record (60 pts) against Brooklyn. The Blazers draw the Kings tonight, who will be without De'Aaron Fox as it was announced he's out for three to four weeks. This could be a typical Lillard 30-plus night playing against a Kings defense that's ranked 27th in defensive net rating (112.1).

Shooting Guard

Jimmy Butler ($7,800) -- Miami has been on the road the past three games and is back home against the Pistons tonight. Butler has averaged 24.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 3.6 assists over their three-game stretch. He's been getting to the free throw line often (30 times over that stretch) and attempting 16 shot attempts per game. Our model projects Butler with 20.5 points, 5.2 assists and 4.9 rebounds tonight, and there's no reason why he shouldn't surpass that with the Pistons on a second night of back-to-back.

Zach LaVine ($7,100) -- LaVine has been in a slump recently as he's only managed 21 points over his last two games. Tonight, the Bulls have a rematch with the New York Knicks in what was an exciting game earlier in the season. The Knicks came out on top, but LaVine scored 21 points on 8 of 18 shooting and has a good opportunity to get back to his average of 19.5 points per game. LaVine has averaged 5.3 assists and and 5.3 rebounds over his last three games and is getting his teammates more involved. Our model projects LaVine to score 22.2 points, 4.3 assists and 4.3 rebounds tonight, making a case for good value play at $7,100.

Small Forward

Tobias Harris ($6,800) -- Harris may be without Ben Simmons ($7,400) again tonight, who draws the Cleveland Cavaliers at home. Joel Embiid ($9,400), Al Horford ($6,500) and Harris are all good plays to get production against the Cavs. Cleveland is one of the better rebounding teams in the NBA led by Kevin Love ($8,200) and Tristan Thompson ($6,700), but the Sixers aren't far behind with or without Simmons. Harris has averaged 13.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in the last two games without Simmons. Harris is projected to finish with 19.5 points and 7.3 rebounds tonight.

Buddy Hield ($6,600) -- With teammate De'Aaron Fox being out, Hield will be in line for a larger increase in scoring for the Kings. Hield has scored 21 or more points in four of his last five games and is averaging 33.15 fantasy points over that stretch. The Kings host the Blazers tonight, the 18th-ranked defense in the league. This matchup has the highest over/under total (222.5) of the night so expect Lillard and Hield to shoot at will. Hield is projected to score 19.8 points, 7.3 field goals made, and 5.0 rebounds in his first game without Fox.

Power Forward

Julius Randle ($7,200) -- Randle is averaging 15.5 points,10.0 rebounds, and 3.9 assists in his first 10 games with the Knicks. He's matched up with the Bulls' 27th-ranked rebounding team and the same squad he scored 13 points and grabbed 14 rebounds against a few weeks ago. Our model gives Randle 21.3 points, 10.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists tonight, and he's averaged 20.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in his last three games. He's currently riding a season-high streak of three straight 20-point games and is in line for his fourth in Chicago.

Anthony Davis ($10,000) -- Davis has scored 20 or more points in eight of nine games this season and is projected to have a big night against the Phoenix Suns tonight. The Lakers are coming off a loss to the Raptors. Davis is projected to score 26.4 points tonight and 9.2 rebounds tonight versus the Deandre Ayton-less front court. Over his last three games, Davis has averaged 26.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.5 blocks. Phoenix is a decent rebounding teams ranked 14th in rebounding percentage behind Ricky Rubio's team-leading 6.8 boards a game. I like Davis' chance to go for 20-10 tonight in a high-scoring game.

Center

Nikola Jokic ($8,300) -- Jokic went from hitting a game-winner against a healthy Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers to a fadeaway over Karl-Anthony Towns to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves. He had one heck of a week starting with a 20-point win over the Miami Heat, and he's looking to start this week off right against the Hawks. With John Collins out for Atlanta, Jokic doesn't have a real threat to stop him down low. He's averaging 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 6.5 assists in his last two games and is projected to score 21.3 points, 10.3 rebounds and 7.1 assists tonight.

Domantas Sabonis ($8,400) -- Sabonis stepping in as the Pacers' starting center has been instrumental to their five-game winning streak. Our model loves him once again as he's a 20-10-5 threat every night without Myles Turner. His projections for tonight are 21.8 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 3.0 assists. Sabonis has 19.6 points, 14.4 rebounds and 5.6 assists in his last five games, and he'll match up with Steven Adams ($5,100) if healthy and the Thunder's 17th-ranked defense.
