5 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 11/13/19

Robert Williams and the Celtics are playing up in pace against a weak Wizards defense. Is he one of the best value plays on this seven-game slate?

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-priced options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at five players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, PF, Toronto Raptors ($4,200)

The Toronto Raptors are dealing with a number of injuries right now, but that means plenty of value options.

With Serge Ibaka out due to an injury, the Raptors' rotation for their big men has been changed up, and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is seeing some good playing time. In his most recent game, he didn't get the start but came off the bench for 28 minutes and was able to post 30.3 FanDuel points. He very well might be in the starting lineup tonight since the Raptors also lost OG Anunoby for a few games. This game against the Portland Trail Blazers looks to be a great spot for fantasy production since the over/under is sitting at 218.5 with a spread of only three points.

Speaking of the Trail Blazers, they are allowing 46.5 FanDuel points per game to power forwards -- eighth-worst in the league. This is a great spot for RHJ, who only needs 21 FanDuel points in order to reach 5x value.

Robert Williams, C, Boston Celtics ($3,900)

With Daniel Theis listed as doubtful for this game, the Boston Celtics need some minutes at center filled.

Boston had Enes Kanter return from his injury in their most recent game but he played only five minutes. That is concerning after missing so many games, and if he isn't ready to go for a full game, then Robert Williams is the player they will turn to for minutes at center.

At just under $4K, Williams is projected to play nearly 20 minutes while producing 20.5 FanDuel points. This shouldn't be a surprise since the Celtics are playing up in pace against the Washington Wizards, who are allowing 61.2 FanDuel points per game to centers -- the second-most in the league. A 226-point over/under makes this spot even better, since we know the offense should be flowing.

Glenn Robinson, SF, Golden State Warriors ($4,100)

The Golden State Warriors have been hit with a ton of injuries, and now they have plenty of cheap players playing big minutes.

One of those players is Glenn Robinson III, who has played 30 minutes or more in five of his last six games and is projected right around there with 27 minutes tonight. There is no doubt that there are other players in the Golden State Warriors' lineup who will see offensive usage ahead of Robinson, but a strong 221-point over/under should see plenty of opportunities for Robinson to get touches. Both the Los Angeles Lakers and the Warriors are in the top-17 or higher when it comes to overall pace, which should also help with the potential upside.

Ben McLemore, SG, Houston Rockets ($3,500)

A 233.5 over/under is the highest on the slate, making this game loaded with fantasy value.

The Houston Rockets are one of several teams who have been hit with the injury bug to start the season, and that means changes to their starting lineup. Eric Gordon is out for several weeks and Danuel House Jr. isn't expected to play in this game, which means Ben McLemore should be getting the start at small forward tonight. It should be noted that McLemore is listed as a shooting guard on FanDuel, which means you potentially could play him alongside James Harden, who is also a shooting guard.

McLemore is expected to be a starter tonight and we have him projected for 20 minutes in what should be a faster-paced game against the Clippers, since both teams are in the top-15 this season.

Rudy Gay, SF, San Antonio Spurs ($4,900)

The San Antonio Spurs are on the road to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves in what could be an under-valued spot for fantasy production.

This game is tied for the fourth-highest over/under -- 221 points -- but it feels like it could be going overlooked tonight. The Spurs don't scream fantasy goodness compared to the Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, Portland Trail Blazers, or Toronto Raptors, but they are still in a great spot to produce. The Spurs are in a significant pace-up spot, as they are 16th overall this season, while the Timberwolves are number one in the league. Plenty of extra touches always point towards extra fantasy production, especially when Minnesota is allowing 42.1 FanDuel points per game to small forwards this season -- the eighth-worst in the league.

We have a pace-up spot against a weak defense, making this the ideal spot for Rudy Gay to exceed value. He is projected as our third-best value at small forward tonight, playing 23 minutes and posting 24.9 FanDuel points in the process. Getting over one fantasy point per minute is what we always aim for in value plays, and he should have no issues with that tonight.
