5 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 11/15/19

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-priced options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at five players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Enes Kanter, C, Boston Celtics ($5,200)

The Boston Celtics have a few injuries with their big men and it opens up plenty of minutes for Enes Kanter.

As of now, both Daniel Theis and Robert Williams are listed as questionable for this game -- and both missed the most recent game. That's not an encouraging sign when both players have been dealing with nagging injuries to start the season. In his most recent game, Kanter played 25 minutes, posted 28.8 FanDuel points, and was one rebound shy of a double-double. That level of production -- or more -- looks likely tonight considering he is up against the Golden State Warriors, who are allowing 62.5 FanDuel points per game to centers, which is dead last in the league.

With a 225-point over/under, the Celtics look primed to feast on a very weak Warriors defense -- along with playing up in pace -- all of which should help Kanter reach value tonight.

Markelle Fultz, PG, Orlando Magic ($4,500)

After an up and down start to his career, it appears Markelle Fultz has found a nice role with the Orlando Magic.

Fultz is splitting time at point guard with D.J. Augustin, which means neither player is over 30 minutes a game, but with Fultz being only $4.5K tonight, he can reach value. The Magic come into this game as the slowest-paced team in the league at 100.6 possessions per game. They are facing the San Antonio Spurs, who are ranked 17th in the league with 105.7 possessions per game, making this a pace-up spot for the Magic. Extra touches on the ball means extra opportunities to rack up fantasy points.

All of this is good when Fultz only needs a modest 22.5 FanDuel points in order to reach 5x value tonight. Speaking of value, our projections have Fultz coming in as the ninth-best value option at point guard tonight.

Troy Brown, SF, Washington Wizards ($4,000)

With a 240-point over/under, the Washington Wizards at Minnesota Timberwolves game is the obvious spot for fantasy production tonight.

Both teams are in the top-eight or higher when it comes to pace and bottom-half of the league for total FanDuel points allowed per game -- with Washington being dead last. With all of this being said, we are in for plenty of ownership here, but that's not always a bad thing. We have value options to consider in this game and Troy Brown is one of them. He has been seeing the starting lineup regularly for the Wizards and is the cheapest option in their starting-five.

Brown has a very modest 15.7% usage rate within the offense, but is managing to produce 0.90 FanDuel points per minute this season. We have Brown projected for 25 minutes, posting a solid 21.2 FanDuel points -- which has him exceeding 5x value tonight.

P.J. Tucker, PF, Houston Rockets ($5,000)

The Houston Rockets are dealing with a ton of injuries and their rotation could change even further tonight.

There are some reports stating Russell Westbrook is set to sit out one side of their back-to-back, which starts tonight, but the specific game isn't clear yet. The Rockets already have Danuel House Jr., Clint Capela, and Eric Gordon out tonight. This should lead to starters playing even more minutes, which is right where we have P.J. Tucker projected -- 34.25 minutes tonight. Minutes equals money in NBA DFS, and even though the offensive usage won't be flowing directly to Tucker, he has plenty of value tonight.

With an over/under sitting at 224 points the opportunities for Tucker should be there, even with this being a tougher defensive matchup going up against the Indiana Pacers.

Glenn Robinson, SF, Golden State Warriors ($4,600)

A player who is under $5K and playing nearly 30 minutes a game is tough to pass on.

That player is Glenn Robinson III of the Golden State Warriors, who are taking on the Celtics tonight with an over/under sitting at 225.5 points. Robinson has scored 21 or more FanDuel points in four of his last five games, putting him right on the edge of reaching 5x salary-based value. To hit exactly 5x value, he would need 23 FanDuel points -- we have him projected for 20.2 tonight. He is right there when it comes to the projections, which makes sense since this is a slight pace-down spot for the Warriors and a bit of a tougher matchup.

It's not a picture-perfect matchup for Robinson, but he has at least shown the ability to reach past 29 FanDuel points a few times this season.
