3 NBA Player Prop Bets to Target on Friday 11/15/19

Our models see value in some prop bets for the Pistons tonight. What props should you check out?

Player props can be useful in a variety of ways, from taking advantage of them straight up (to the tune of cold hard cash), to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy basketball.

While you can use those odds in fantasy, you can also utilize our fantasy projections and a variety of other tools to help make money on betting everyday player props.

For the purposes of this article, we are using the odds provided at FanDuel Sportsbook to pinpoint three spots where value can be had on a player's stat line, scoring, or even shot type.

Please note that betting lines and our game projections may change throughout the day after this article is published.

Luke Kennard, Over 15.5 Points

Luke Kennard is in the midst of one of the best scoring streaks of his career, putting up 22.6 points over his last six games and 19.8 points on the year. The 15.5 line is an oddly low number, but Blake Griffin being back in the lineup is likely the reason for it.

Kennard scored 25 points on 8-of-17 shooting against the Minnesota Timberwolves Monday with Griffin in the lineup. The following game, Kennard played two fewer minutes sans Griffin, and he scored 22 minutes, so his minutes shouldn't be impacted too much by Griffin.

Kennard has scored at least 15 points in eight of 12 games this season, including six of the last eight. Our model has Kennard scoring 17.4 points and hitting the over here.

Andre Drummond, Over 33.5 Points + Rebounds

Andre Drummond stills leads the NBA in rebounding, but he has been in a bit of a slump over the past four games. The Detroit Pistons have lost three straight, and he's averaging 14.0 points and 11.3 rebounds per game during that stretch. Tonight the Pistons meet the second-worst rebounding team in the NBA, the Dennis Horner. Cody Zeller and PJ Washington will counter Griffin and Drummond down low, giving the Pistons their most favorable matchup of the season.

Drummond is projected to score 18.9 points with an night-best 16.1 rebounds, helping him barely hit the over on this one, per our numbers. Drummond averaged 17.3 points and 18.5 rebonds in four games versus the Hornets last season.

Blake Griffin, Over 23.5 Points + Rebounds

Griffin's line for combined points and rebounds is 23.5, and he's capable of smashing that.

Griffin totaled 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in his first game of the season against the Timberwolves, attempting only three triples. Griffin averaged a career-high seven three-point attempts per night last year, and if he's shooting or getting to the free throw line tonight, he should score 20 points easily. He went 6 of 12 from the field and 6 for 8 from the charity stripe in his season debut, and his workload will only increase as time goes on.

Our model projects Griffin to score 19.6 points and snag 5.5 rebounds. Griffin averaged 18.8 points and 6.8 rebounds in four games against the Hornets last season.
