3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 11/21/19

Frank Kaminsky is projected to be the starting center for the Suns tonight. Is he the top value play on this two-game slate?

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-priced options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Frank Kaminsky, PF, Phoenix Suns ($4,600)

With only two games on the slate, the value options should be clear and chalky tonight.

The Phoenix Suns have already ruled Aron Baynes out for this game, which means we should be seeing Frank Kaminsky get the start at center. He is listed as a power forward on FanDuel -- be sure to take note of that. With Baynes off the court this season, Kaminsky is holding a modest 19.5% usage rate while producing 0.90 FanDuel points per minute. Our projections are actually higher on Kaminsky tonight compared to that production as we have him going for 27.5 FanDuel points in 27 minutes.

The Suns are taking on the New Orleans Pelicans, who are allowing 50.0 FanDuel points per game to centers this season -- 11th fewest in the league. It's not the ideal matchup for Kaminsky, but since both teams are in the top-10 in pace, he will have opportunities to reach his projection.

Jaxson Hayes, C, New Orleans Pelicans ($5,000)

With the New Orleans Pelicans list of injuries continuing, Jaxson Hayes should be their starting center tonight.

Hayes has been the starting center for three straight games now, posting 21.6 FanDuel points or more in each -- including 32 FanDuel points or more in the last two -- along with being over one fantasy point per minute in the last two. That is fantastic production out of a player who is $5K and seeing a floor of 20 minutes per game. We have an over/under set at a whopping 235 points tonight in the game versus the Suns. As mentioned above, both teams play at a very fast pace and aren't super strong on defense.

Our projections have Hayes rated as the top overall value at the center position, pegging him for a very solid 26.3 FanDuel points in 28 minutes. This should come as no surprise since the Suns are allowing the eighth-most FanDuel points per game to centers this season (55.6).

Donte DiVincenzo, SG, Milwaukee Bucks ($5,000)

The Milwaukee Bucks are on the second night of a back-to-back, and they come in with a massive 120.0-point implied team total.

After a strong win against the Atlanta Hawks, the Bucks are at home to take on a depleted Portland Trail Blazers team that will be without Damian Lillard and potentially Hassan Whiteside. All of this leads to the Bucks coming in as 13.0-point home favorites, which could set us up for a blowout. If Milwaukee gets an early lead, it wouldn't be all that shocking to see Giannis Antetokounmpo grab some rest in the fourth quarter.

That is my theory based on the fact 79% of the money is on the Bucks to win outright and 75% of the money is on the Bucks to cover the 13-point spread, according to oddsFire. If that turns out to be true, role players like Donte DiVincenzo will see plenty of usage with Antetokounmpo resting late in the game.

Our projections have DiVincenzo going for 21 FanDuel points, coming in as the fourth-best value option at shooting guard tonight.
