3 NBA Player Prop Bets to Target on Friday 11/22/19

Our models see value in Jimmy Butler's points prop tonight. Which other player props should you target?

Player props can be useful in a variety of ways, from taking advantage of them straight up (to the tune of cold hard cash), to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy basketball.

While you can use those odds in fantasy, you can also utilize our fantasy projections and a variety of other tools to help make money on betting everyday player props.

For the purposes of this article, we are using the odds provided at FanDuel Sportsbook to pinpoint three spots where value can be had on a player's stat line, scoring, or even shot type.

Please note that betting lines and our game projections may change throughout the day after this article is published.

Jimmy Butler, Over 21.5 Points

Jimmy Butler is back in Chicago, taking on the Bulls, his former team. Butler spent his first six seasons with Chicago and was a fan favorite early on. Now he's the face of the Miami Heat, and the rebuild post D-Wade. Butler is averaging 18.8 points, 7.0 assists and 5.7 rebounds for the 10-3 Heat. He played in Chicago once last season as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers and scored 22 points in a one-point loss. The Heat are 12th in points per game (112.2), led by Butler's 18.8 average.

Butler has scored 21 or more points in four of 13 games. He has scored more than 21 only twice this season, but there should be a little extra motivation tonight for Butler. Our model projects Butler for 23.4 points and expects the over to hit here.

Bradley Beal, Over 28.5 Points

Bradley Beal has five straight games of 30 points or more and has been carrying the Wizards offensively. Beal has averaged 23.1 shot attempts over his last eight and 24 shots in his last five games.

He's taking on the Hornets tonight, and both teams are in the bottom of the league defensively. The Hornets sit 23rd in defensive net rating while the Wizards are 29th -- ahead of only the Warriors. Beal is seventh in usage rate (32.6%) and third in scoring (30.3). He could have a huge day against a Hornets team that allows the 11th most points per game (112.8).

Our model projects Beal for 26.7 points against the Hornets, but he has the upside to go for 30-plus in this plum matchup.

Luka Doncic, Over 29.5 Points

Luka Doncic has two straight monster double-doubles and three in his last four games. He is averaging a triple-double in November and is scoring 31.9 points per game this month. For the year, he is fourth in points (29.9), second in assists (9.4), second in PER (32.40), fourth in player usage rating (34.3%), and 11th in rebounds (10.6).

He is doing it all for Dallas, and only LeBron James has had similar numbers under the age of 21. Doncic is averaging 20.6 shots over his last 10 games and a whopping 3.3 made three-pointers on 9.3 attempts.

Doncic has one career game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, and he put up 35 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists in that one. Expect him to keep rolling in this clash.
