DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Helper: Thursday 12/5/19

With four games to choose from on tonight's NBA slate, let's take a look at how to utilize the many DFS possibilities. Here are some of the top plays and sleepers on DraftKings. As always, good luck.

Point Guard

Devin Booker ($7,500) -- Booker is averaging 24.1 points per game, and the Suns have their second meeting against the Pelicans, a team they lost to already. Booker had 19 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds against New Orleans in their last matchup and should be busy again today. On a short slate, Booker has the potential to be big factor.

Jamal Murray ($6,700) -- Murray has scored 15 or more points in five of the last seven games and 22 or more in four of those seven. He is averaging 18.7 points per game and 35.6 fantasy points, with 41.6 in his last game. The Nuggets could use a win tonight in Madison Square Garden against the lowly Knicks, and Murray should be one of the offensive driving forces for the struggling Denver offense.

Shooting Guard

Josh Hart ($4,500) -- Hart hasn't made much of an impact since coming back from injury, but tonight versus the Suns, he will have a chance to get his offensive game going. He had a double-double against the Thunder two games ago with 11 points and 11 rebounds for 38.25 fantasy points. He's a good option for the very last spot in your lineup tonight whether this game is competitive or a blowout.

James Harden ($12,000) -- Harden is projected to score 35.1 real-world points tonight, the most in the league, and it'll have to come against the Raptors, one of the best home teams in the NBA. Harden's averaging an NBA-best 39.5 points per game and 63.6 fantasy points per night. He's been unstoppable, and the Rockets will need him to be a stud tonight in a game in which they're underdogs.

Small Forward

Dario Saric ($6,000) -- Saric has been playing well over the past few weeks, putting up 35 fantasy points or more in three of his last five games, including three double-doubles. Saric has averaged 14 points and 10.8 rebounds in his last five games, making him a steal at this price. He's a threat for another double-double tonight on the road, where his numbers are better this season.

Will Barton ($5,900) -- Barton has been a well-kept secret the past two weeks, topping 40 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He is an all-around threat, and he's recorded 37 minutes or more in three of the last four games, making him reliable at a $5,900 cost. Tonight, he's a low-risk, high-reward option versus a bad Knicks team. If the Nuggets get up big, Barton may be one of the beneficiaries of the blowout.

Power Forward

Brandon Ingram ($8,200) -- Ingram has scored 20 points or more in 16 of 17 games this season and sits ninth in the NBA with 25.4 points per game. In his eight home games, he's averaged 24.0 per night. In the Pelicans' last win, which came against the Suns, Ingram scored 28 points on 9-for-19 shooting and 7 for 9 on free throws. Ingram has scored 24 or more points in seven of his last 10 games, making him a solid start, per usual.

Al Horford ($6,400) -- Horford has scored in double digits in six straight games and is shooting 50 percent or higher in all six. On the road versus the Washington Wizards, Horford has potential for a great rebounding night and for a good all-around game. In his last outing against the Jazz, he scored 17 points with 8 rebounds and 5 assists -- good for 41.5 fantasy points. For $6,400, Horford is a nice price considering he's had 30 or more fantasy points in five of his last six games for the 76ers.

Center

Clint Capela ($7,900) -- Capela has grabbed 19 or more rebounds in eight straight games, including 20 or more in seven of those. Capela has averaged 20.2 rebounds over his last five games, getting 20 or more in four of them. Nobody has been able to slow down Capela, and banking on him to have another 20-20 performance in Toronto may not happen given the tough matchup, but a double-double is a safe bet.

Joel Embiid ($9,700) -- Embiid is in line for a big night with Thomas Bryant out for the Wizards. Embiid has grabbed double-digit rebounds in each of his last eight games and has 21 or more points in six of eight. He's averaging 22.0 points and 12.9 rebounds in seven road contests and can top those numbers if the 76ers don't blow out the Wizards. Embiid averages 46.9 fantasy points per game for the year.
