3 NBA Player Prop Bets to Target on Tuesday 12/10/19
Player props can be useful in a variety of ways, from taking advantage of them straight up (to the tune of cold hard cash), to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy basketball.
While you can use those odds in fantasy, you can also utilize our fantasy projections and a variety of other tools to help make money on betting everyday player props.
For the purposes of this article, we are using the odds provided at FanDuel Sportsbook to pinpoint three spots where value can be had on a player's stat line, scoring, or even shot type.

Nikola Jokic Over 0.5 Made Threes
Nikola Jokic's play has increased as the team success has gone down for the Nuggets. Currently on a two-game losing streak, Denver heads to Philadelphia tonight to face a team they beat earlier in the season on a Jokic game-winner.
In Jokic's past two games, he's scored 24 and 30, double-doubled in each, and made at least one triple in each. In seven games versus the 76ers in his career, Jokic has made a three-pointer in the last five meetings, including going 2 for 9 from deep in November's meeting in Denver. Jokic attempts more threes on the road (4.3) than at home (3.6) and is shooting at a 25 percent clip from deep.
He's projected to record 19.1 points, 10.8 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 1.0 made three-pointers tonight. His over/under total for points, rebounds and assists is 37.5, which is a solid bet, too, but I like gambling on Jokic to hit a triple in this one.
Rui Hachimura Over 6.5 Rebounds
Rui Hachimura has been playing quality basketball this season for the Wizards, especially over the last six games. He's averaging 19.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and is shooting 50 percent from the field in that span, and in his first meeting with the Hornets, he scored 15 points and grabbed two rebounds in 21 minutes.
Hachimura is rebounding more on the road (6.3) than at home (5.1) and has seven or more rebounds in nine of 22 games this season, including four of the last six. In the past two weeks, he's grabbed between seven and nine rebounds against each of the 76ers, Lakers, and Clippers (twice).
With the Wiz taking on the Hornets tonight, these two enter as the worst rebounding teams in the league, and given Hachimura's past six games, this will likely be his best shot at his first double-double since opening night.
Carmelo Anthony Over 16.5 Points
Carmelo Anthony has recorded 17 or more points in five of 10 games this season, and he will face the Knicks today for the first time since 2017. He played them twice as a member of the Thunder, and he averaged 17 points on 34.2 percent shooting in two games in 2017.
As a member of the Blazers, Melo is averaging 15.9 points on 40.9 percent shooting from the field and 35.9 percent from deep. Melo is averaging 14.4 shot attempts per game in his last five games and he's averaging 17.2 points at home. Given tonight's matchup and his averages, the over on 16.5 points looks like a good bet.
Melo just played his former Thunder team in his first of a back-to-back revenge tour and scored 9 points with 8 rebounds on 4-for-18 shooting. At home in Portland against one of the worst teams in the league, Melo is in a spot to deliver a big game tonight.
