3 NBA Player Prop Bets to Target on Wednesday 12/11/19

Can Steven Adams dominate the boards against the Kings? What player prop bets do our models like for tonight's NBA slate?

Player props can be useful in a variety of ways, from taking advantage of them straight up (to the tune of cold hard cash), to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy basketball.

While you can use those odds in fantasy, you can also utilize our fantasy projections and a variety of other tools to help make money on betting everyday player props.

For the purposes of this article, we are using the odds provided at FanDuel Sportsbook to pinpoint three spots where value can be had on a player's stat line, scoring, or even shot type.

Please note that betting lines and our game projections may change throughout the day after this article is published.

Jonas Valanciunas, Over 10.5 Rebounds

Jonas Valanciunas has been eating over his past five games, averaging 21.4 points and 12.4 rebounds. He's double-doubled in four of those five games while shooting at a 69.8 percent clip from the field. Tonight versus the Suns -- the 26th-ranked rebounding team in the league -- Valanciunas can have another strong performance.

Valanciunas has cracked 10 rebounds in five of the last six games and had more than 11 in three of those six. In two games against the Suns last season, he averaged 25 points and 13.5 rebounds. He's 15th in the league in rebounding at 9.8 after averaging 10.1 in the month of November. The over is a good play tonight.

Steven Adams, Over 9.5 Rebounds

Steven Adams and the Thunder are in Sacramento to take on the 29th-ranked rebounding team in the NBA, the Kings. Adams has averaged 15.5 points and 10.4 rebounds over his last five games and has a favorable matchup to get his fifth double-double in seven games. Adams has recorded 9 or more rebounds in seven of his last eight games and has had 10 or more in five of those eight. Adams' over/under for points is 13.5, and he's recorded that number in four of the last six. Sacramento is second-worst in defensive rebounding, which should give Adams plenty of chances to crack 10 boards.

Adams averaged 15.3 rebounds in four games against the Kings last season, and I like his odds of going over in what should be a competitive game.

Evan Fournier, Over 19.5 Points

Evan Fournier has led the Magic in scoring in 7 of the last 10 games and is averaging 24.1 points during that stretch. In his past five games, he's averaging 25.6 points on 17.2 shot attempts, 7.6 three-point attempts, and 3.6 free throws per game. Fournier is at 20.0 points per game on the season and 23.6 over his last five home games. The Magic have earned 8 of their 11 wins at home, giving them an 8-4 home record, compared to 3-8 on the road. This a game where the Los Angeles Lakers could overlook the Magic, with the Miami Heat on deck.

Expect Fournier and Terrence Ross (O/U 15.5) to both put up shot attempts, as they've been the two primary scoring options without Nikola Vucevic in the lineup.
