DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Helper: Tuesday 9/22/20

Which players should you look to on tonight's single-game slate?

With one game to choose from on today's NBA slate, let's look at how to utilize the DFS possibilities.

Here are some of the top plays on DraftKings. As always, good luck.

Captain Considerations

Anthony Davis ($17,400) -- Davis missed out on his seventh-straight double-double by just one board in Game 2 versus Denver. Davis has double-doubled in four of six games versus the Nuggets this season, and he's at the top of my list for captain considerations for Game 3. Davis has recorded at least nine rebounds in 11 of 12 postseason games in these playoffs, and he's scored 25 or more points in 10 of 12 games. He's looking unguardable versus Denver and has a huge ceiling.

LeBron James ($18,000) -- James has also double-doubled in four of his last six games, including twice against the Nuggets so far in the playoffs. He's averaging 20.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 7.5 assists through two games of this series, and he's coming off a 26-point game in 36 minutes. LeBron averaged a triple-double in the first round versus Portland with 27.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 10.2 assists. He scaled down his dominance some in the semifinals, averaging a double-double of 25.8 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 7.4 assists against Houston. He's capable of a monster game any given night, though his floor isn't quite as high as AD's.

Nikola Jokic ($16,500) -- Jokic scored a game-high 30 points in Game 2, attempting a series-high 20 field-goal attempts. He made 11 of 12 free-throws (91.7%) and hit nine of 20 field goals (45.5%). He's shot 50% or better in nine of 16 playoff games but has yet to double-double versus the Lakers. Jokic double-doubled in six straight games during the semifinals against the Los Angeles Clippers, and he's averaging 25.5 points. 6.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists against the Lakers.

Jamal Murray ($14,100) -- Murray has had two positive games in this series, but the Nuggets couldn't close out Game 2. The Nuggets' leading guard averaged 18.5 points, 5.8 assists, and 3.8 rebounds in four regular-season meetings with LA, and he's pumped up those numbers to 23.0 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.5 rebounds in this series. Murray averaged 31.6 points per game in the first round but 22.6 points in the semifinals versus the Clippers. He posted four games of 21 or more points in the semis, and he averaged 6.4 assists and 4.4 rebounds over the seven games.

Utility Considerations

Michael Porter Jr. ($11,400) -- MPJ has recorded 20.5 and 35.5 fantasy points in the last two games, giving him an average of 20.9 per game in four games against the Lakers this year while logging 19.3 minutes per game. He's scored 14 and 15 points in his first two games of this series and attempted nine shots in both. He's played 20 and 29 minutes this series. The more he plays, the better he's been for Denver. MPJ is bringing in 7.0 rebounds per game in the last two. numberFire's model pegs him to record 9.5 points and 5.1 rebounds in 25 minutes.

Rajon Rondo ($10,500) -- Rondo averaged 10.6 points, 7.0 assists, and 4.6 rebounds in the semifinals, and he's at 5.0 points and 9.0 assists in two games this round. The veteran point guard averaged 26.8 minutes versus the Rockets but has gotten just 21.5 minutes versus the Nuggets, though Game 1 was influenced by a lopsided scoreline. He's averaging 21.9 fantasy points versus Denver over the regular and postseason, and he could be worth the final selection in your utility spot as he carries double-double potential.

Danny Green ($6,900) -- Green has put together two solid performances versus Denver with 22.25 and 27.25 fantasy points. Green has now recorded 22 or more fantasy points in four straight games, and he's scored double-digits real-world points in three of his last four. He's knocked down 10-of-25 three-pointers (40%) in that span. If he catches his stride and knocks down shots, his fantasy numbers could inflate, and he's a decent dart throw at this salary.
