NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Tuesday 6/8/21

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Joe Ingles, SG, Utah Jazz ($4,300)

With Mike Conley out of the lineup for the Utah Jazz, Joe Ingles should have an increased role in the offense.

Losing Conley is no doubt a big loss for the Jazz, and other players will need to step up and fill the offensive void. That is something Ingles has done all season when Conley was off the court, as he saw a slight (1.5 percentage points) boost in his offensive usage. This led to Ingles producing 0.91 FanDuel points per minute or 43.75 FanDuel points per 48 mins.

Ingles should shift into the starting lineup with Conley out, as opposed to coming off the bench. That would put him in line for at least 30 minutes, providing him plenty of opportunities to reach or exceed fantasy value since he is only $4,300. Speaking of fantasy value, this game should offer plenty of it since it features a 224.5-point over/under and a close 4.0-point spread.

Reggie Jackson, PG, Los Angeles Clippers ($4,800)

Reggie Jackson has proven to be a strong role player for the Los Angeles Clippers, and he's worth a roster spot tonight.

It's no secret that the Clippers' offense is driven by Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. They lead the team in usage, field goal attempts and FanDuel points per minute -- you name it, they are at the top. But the Clips are getting production from other players, too, and Jackson is one guy who has stepped up.

To start the playoffs, Jackson has posted at least 19 FanDuel points in six of the seven games and is averaging 15.4 real-world points per game while holding a modest 20.2% usage rate.

The fact Jackson has been so productive while sharing the court with Leonard and George is awesome, and it should continue to make him one of the most popular value options on the slate. Jackson is currently projected for 30.15 minutes and 25.3 FanDuel points, making him the second-best value option on this slate, per our algorithm.
