NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Friday 6/11/21

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Cameron Payne, PG, Phoenix Suns ($4,300)

With a close 1.5-point spread, we should see a good fantasy environment for the Phoenix Suns at the Denver Nuggets matchup.

Game 3 is on tap tonight and the Suns are looking to take a commanding 3-0 series lead. They've been able to grab the series lead with well-rounded scoring from their starters and their bench players, the latter of which includes Cameron Payne. He has come off the bench in all eight of the games this postseason, averaging 21 minutes, 11 points, and 3 assists. Solid production from the backup, who is also shooting 40.6% from three-point range. That scoring upside is always a nice addition to your lineups since it can help Payne reach and exceed fantasy value quickly.

Reaching fantasy value is exactly what he is projected to do tonight, as numberFire's projections have him going for 22.22 minutes and 21.9 FanDuel points. With the rotation of players gettering shorter during the playoffs, Payne provides a bit of consistency for the Suns and your lineups.

JaMychal Green, PF, Denver Nuggets ($4,200)

The Nuggets need more scoring if they are going to try and even up this series against the Suns.

Game 2 showed a clear gap between these two teams as the lack of scoring from the Nuggets was evident. They had only a single player -- Nikola Jokic -- with more than 20 real points, with the next highest player being at 11 points. If they aren't going to outscore the Suns, they need to play better defense and crash the boards, which is where JaMychal Green could come into play. He has played a modest but consistent role off the bench for the Nuggets in the playoffs, averaging 20.8 minutes, 6.5 points, and 5.6 rebounds.

A little bit of scoring, a little bit of filling up the stat sheet, and plenty of fantasy value is what Green brings to the table tonight. He's never going to drop 30 and 10, but we just want him to reach fantasy value tonight. That's what he's projected to nearly hit with his 23.32 minutes and 20.3 FanDuel points, making him the best value option among power forwards tonight.
