3 NBA Player Prop Bets to Target on Friday 3/25/22
Player props are a fun way to bet the NBA without having to worry about the zaniness that last-minute injuries can cause in terms of a spread or a game total.
Here, we'll focus on utilizing our projections and a slew of other tools and simulations to help make some cash.
For this article, we are using the odds provided at NBA Finals odds to pinpoint spots where value can be had tonight.
The prop-betting experience on FanDuel Sportsbook is getting even more fun. You can track your player props with real-time updates and place in-game props with ease.
Note: Betting lines and our player projections may change throughout the day after this article is published.
Tyrese Maxey Under 16.5 Points (-116)
The Clips are giving up just 21.5 points per game to points guards over the last 15 games, the fifth-fewest in that stretch.
Our model projects Maxey for 15.9 points in this one.
Kevin Porter Jr. Over 15.5 Points (+100)
The Blazers are dead last in defensive rating (127.6) across the last six games, and both of these teams are in the top 12 in pace in that span. It really is a sublime spot for Porter, who has seen at least 26 minutes in 12 straight games, including 33-plus in three of the last five.
Portland is allowing above-average points per game to all of point guard, shooting guard, and small forward, so no matter how KPJ is deployed, he can crush it tonight.
We have Porter pegged to score 16.2 points.
Jordan Poole Under 3.5 Made Three-Pointers (+112)
The Atlanta Hawks are not good defensively. One thing they do well, however, is limit three-point tries.
In their last 15 games, the Hawks have held opponents to a three-point attempt rate of 34.2%, the lowest mark in the NBA.
One of those spots is Jordan Poole, who we project to make 3.5 three-pointers, which is right at this line. But with the over at -142 and the under at +112, the under is where your money should be.
Klay Thompson is worth a shout, as well. He's been held to three treys or fewer in two of his past three games, and our projections have him knocking in 3.5 triples. His line is also at 3.5 made threes, although the under is -118, so it's not as good of a deal as Poole's prop is.
