3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Tuesday 12/6/22

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays.

If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at some players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup on FanDuel tonight, using numberFire's daily fantasy basketball projections as a guide.

Bruce Brown, SG, Denver Nuggets

FanDuel Salary: $5,600

Across 11 starts this season, Bruce Brown Jr. has averaged 34.3 minutes, 13.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.7 combined steals and blocks for an average of 29.7 FanDuel points per game.

He maintains a per-minute average of 0.87 FanDuel points as a starter over elevated minutes, a pretty nice rate for the salary even on a larger slate than a three-gamer.

Brown and the Denver Nuggets host the Dallas Mavericks, who are not a great road team and hold a 116.0 defensive rating on the road (ranking 23rd).

Brown is projected by numberFire's model for 34.1 minutes and 30.2 FanDuel points -- in line with his higher output as a starter.

He's the second-best projected value play of the night.

Kevin Love, PF/C, Cleveland Cavaliers

FanDuel Salary: $4,900

Kevin Love's front court teammate, Jarrett Allen, is questionable for tonight's game.

Even with Allen still projected to play, Love is expected to play 21.6 minutes and score 23.5 FanDuel points against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Love has maintained a per-minute average of 1.08 FanDuel points this season, and the best composite matchup -- the combination of the total, spread, and defense-versus-position -- of any position group in action tonight belongs to the Cavaliers' bigs.

Against the Lakers earlier this season, Love played 20.1 minutes and generated a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double with an assist and a block for 25.5 FanDuel points, thus maintaining a per-minute output of 1.27 FanDuel points.

Isaiah Stewart, C/PF, Detroit Pistons

FanDuel Salary: $5,800

We've seen some nice minutes for Isaiah Stewart in his return to action (26.0, 36.6, and 27.0 over the past three games), and he's being projected for 30.9 tonight against the Miami Heat.

The fantasy production isn't necessarily elite (he's scored 27.5, 26.9, and 20.3 FanDuel points in those past three games and is projected for 26.5 tonight). However, the minutes at a reasonable salary can go a long way on a three-game slate.

Stewart has an 18.3% usage rate with good production (0.96 FanDuel points per minute) with Cade Cunningham off the floor this season.
