Yesterday's Perfect NBA DFS Lineups: Tuesday 4/7/15
Last night, the Kings and Timberwolves proved that you don't have to be good teams to provide excellent fantasy value on any given night. Sacramento was able to knock off Minnesota 116-111, but given how banged up both teams were and the lack of defense being played, both squads featured a number of players who significantly exceeded fantasy value last night.
With DeMarcus Cousins sitting last night's game out with a foot injury, the Kings' other star -- Rudy Gay -- put the team on his back, scoring 33 points with 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and a block. Omri Casspi and Derrick Williams also stepped up in Boogie's absence, combining for 49 points and 13 rebounds in a hard-fought win.
While Gay and the Kings ultimately had the last laugh, Kevin Martin and Zach LaVine did their best to push Sacramento to the brink. After missing six games with a hamstring injury, Martin looked fully healthy last night, pouring in 37 points with 8 assists, 5 rebounds and a steal. LaVine also pitched in with a huge effort in a loss, scoring 21 points of his own while adding 11 assists and 5 rebounds.
The Kings and Timberwolves weren't the only team to provide great value last night. Bismack Biyombo looked spectacular in a fill in start for Big Al Jefferson, scoring 12 points while grabbing 12 boards, swatting 4 shots and snatching 2 steals. Goran Dragic put on an impressive performance for the Heat as well, scoring 28 points with 5 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 steals as the Heat knocked off the Hornets to help keep their playoff hopes alive.
