J.R. Smith reportedly not playing for Cavaliers anymore
Cleveland Cavaliers guard/forward J.R. Smith "will no longer be actively with the" team, according to Joe Vardon of The Athletic.
Vardon reports Smith will work with the Cavaliers to find a trade while working out on his own in the meantime. Rodney Hood and Jordan Clarkson will see more playing time with Smith out of the picture.
Smith averaged 14.4 FanDuel points in 11 games for the Cavaliers this season, with 6.7 points, 1.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.1 3-pointers on a career-worst 34.2 field goal percentage.
