Clint Capela (thumb) ruled out for Rockets Monday
Houston Rockets forward/center Clint Capela (right thumb injury) will not play versus the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday.
Capela suffered the injury in Sunday's loss to the Orlando Magic, but managed to play through it. The Rockets said he would be re-examined on Monday, so there should be an update on the severity of the issue later in the afternoon. Nene, Marquese Chriss, and Isaiah Hartenstein, who was recalled from the G-League in response to Capela's injury, are all candidates to see time at center.
Capela is averaging 40.6 FanDuel points through 42 games this season, with 17.6 points, 12.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.6 steals, and 1.8 blocks per contest.
