Mo Bamba reportedly out 'significant time' for Magic with stress fracture
Orlando Magic rookie power forward Mo Bamba has been diagnosed with a stress fracture in his lower left leg and is expected to miss "significant time," reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Bamba missed Orlando's previous game, but the severity of the injury was unknown. He sat out four games last month with a sore left foot, so this could be related. Woj says the rookie isn't expected to need surgery for now. Jonathon Simmons (abdominal) is doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, so look for Khem Birch to benefit.
Bamba was averaging 17.4 FanDuel points through 47 NBA games (one start), with 6.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 0.8 assists, and 1.4 blocks.
