Kawhi Leonard (illness) out Monday for San Antonio
San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard (gastroenteritis) will not play against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday.
He just has a stomach bug and will miss his second game of the season due to illness -- his first was against the 76ers, too. Kyle Anderson made the start last time and played 31 minutes. There is a good chance for LaMarcus Aldridge and Rasual Butler could get more run, too.
Leonard has been one of the league's best players this season. His 60.5 true shooting percentage ranks 10th, and his 21.9 nERD ranks second. Leonard is averaging 21.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.9 steals while hitting 50 percent of his 3-pointers. All of those numbers are new career-best clips, with the exception of steals.
