Kevin Knox double-doubles as Knicks upset Spurs
New York Knicks rookie small forward Kevin Knox scored 19 points (8-of-18 field goals, 2-of-3 free throws) with 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, 1 3-pointer, and 2 turnovers in 32.9 minutes of a 130-118 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday.
Knox notched the second double-double of his career and shot better than 40.0 percent from the field for the first time since February 1 to help the Knicks end an 18-game home losing streak. He's also made a significant improvement at the charity stripe this month, going 22-of-25 (88.0 percent), compared to 85-of-122 (69.7 percent) over the first 43 games of the season. New York hosts the Orlando Magic on Tuesday.
