Wojnarowski: Suns' Deandre Ayton facing 25-game drug suspension
Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton is reportedly facing a potential 25-game suspension, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The league claims that Ayton tested positive for a diuretic, which would be in violation of the Anti-Drug Policy set forth in the CBA. If he is forced to miss 25 games, that would put him out until December, which would obviously be a big hit to the Suns' chances of early-season success. Aron Baynes would receive a bigger share of minutes should this go through.
In 33 minutes on Wednesday night, Ayton played 33 minutes and scored 18 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and blocking four shots for a total of 46.2 FanDuel points.
