New York Knicks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. (personal) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Orlando Magic and Friday's game against the Boston Celtics.
What It Means:
Smith also missed Monday's game. He's dealing with the death of his stepmother. The young guard could return for Sunday's home date against the Sacramento Kings. Elfrid Payton (hamstring) is also out, likely setting up Frank Ntilikina for a start.
