Devin Booker leads Suns past 76ers with 40 points
Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker scored 40 points (15-of-19 field goals, 7-of-7 free throws) with 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block, 3 3-pointers, and 3 turnovers in 32.1 minutes of a 114-109 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday.
The points are a season-best and Booker joins Anthony Davis as the only players so far this season to score 40-plus points on fewer than 20 shot attempts. He's now shot at least 50.0 percent from the field five times in seven games and scored 20-plus in all but one. The Suns host the Miami Heat on Thursday.
Booker scored a season-high 49.3 FanDuel points on Monday. numberFire's models project him for 27.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 0.9 steals, and 2.6 3-pointers per game over the rest of the season.
