Anthony Davis (ribs, shoulder) reportedly expected to sit Wednesday for Lakers
Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis is not expected to play on Wednesday against the Golden State Warriors, reports Brad Turner.
Davis took a shot to the ribs in Tuesday's 123-115 win over the Phoenix Suns that required a brief trip to the locker room. X-rays came back negative after the game, but Davis has also been dealing with a shoulder issue, so Turner says "all signs point to" the Lakers holding the big man out on the second half of the back-to-back set. Kyle Kuzma will likely replace Davis in the starting lineup.
The Brow scored 24 points (9-of-17 field goals, 5-of-6 free throws) with 12 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, 1 block, 1 3-pointer, and 1 turnover in 37.6 minutes on Tuesday. He finished with 52.4 FanDuel points.
