Dwayne Bacon (knee) doubtful for Hornets on Wednesday
Charlotte Hornets shooting guard Dwayne Bacon (sore right knee) is doubtful to play on Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies.
What It Means:
Bacon injured his knee on Sunday. The Hornets play a Friday-Saturday back-to-back, so he could miss the next two contests. Assuming Bacon is ruled out, Malik Monk may draw his first start of the season. PJ Washington could also see more offensive usage.
Bacon is averaging 9.9 points on an ugly 34.2 field goal percentage through 10 games. numberFire's models only project him for 10.9 points on 44.4 percent shooting over the rest of the season.
