Kings' Marvin Bagley doesn't expect reserve role to last
Sacramento Kings forward Marvin Bagley said he understood why Luke Walton brought him off the bench in his first game back following a six-week absence, but he doesn't anticipate that being a long-term thing.
What It Means:
Bagley came off the bench Wednesday in a win over Oklahoma City. "I’m getting back into the swing of things, so coming off the bench for a couple games or whatever it is, it’s not something I’m trying to get used to," he said. "When you’re out six weeks, you’re not just going to come right back and start."
Our models project Bagley to average 16.1 points and 9.2 rebounds per game over the rest of the season.
