Joel Embiid (illness) ruled out for 76ers on Sunday
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Brooklyn Nets with an illness.
What It Means:
This was expected after Embiid was downgraded to doubtful this morning with an upper respiratory illness. Mike Scott could see a large increase in usage with Embiid out, especially if Al Horford, who is a game-time decision, is also ruled out.
Embiid is averaging 22.8 points, 12.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 45.9 FanDuel points per game this season.
