Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (illness) is expected to play in Wednesday's game versus the Miami Heat.
Embiid returned to practice on Tuesday after missing Sunday's contest. Mike Scott will likely return to the second unit Wednesday. There also figures to be fewer minutes for Norvel Pelle off the bench.
