Deandre Ayton ruled out for Suns on Friday with ankle sprain
Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton (right ankle sprain) will not play on Friday versus the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Ayton looked sharp in his return on Tuesday, scoring 18 points with 12 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 block. Friday is the front end of a back-to-back, so the Suns may just be easing Ayton back up to a full workload. Look for Aron Baynes, Dario Saric, and Frank Kaminsky to see more opportunities with Ayton sidelined.
Ayton is averaging 42.1 FanDuel points per game this season. numberFire's models project him for 16.1 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game over the rest of the season.
