Pistons' Blake Griffin reportedly considering season-ending knee surgery

Detroit Pistons forward/center Blake Griffin is considering undergoing season-ending surgery on his left knee, reports Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

What It Means:

Griffin underwent offseason surgery on the same knee and is still having issues. He missed the beginning of the season and has only appeared in 18-of-37 games. Griffin will meet a specialist this week, but it seems unlikely that he will return this season. It's possible he's played his final game in a Pistons uniform. Christian Wood stands to gain the most. Sekou Doumbouya could also get more opportunity for a team expected to turn to a rebuild.

Blake was averaging 15.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.5 3-pointers, and 26.1 FanDuel points in 18 games this season.
