Russell Westbrook will sit out front leg of Rockets' back-to-back Wednesday
Houston Rockets point guard Russell Westbrook (rest) will not play on Wednesday versus the Atlanta Hawks in the front leg of a back-to-back.
That means Westbrook will have five days off between games before returning for Thursday's contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The absence will likely lead to a start for Austin Rivers, with more opportunity also falling to Eric Gordon.
Westbrook is averaging 45.8 FanDuel points per game. numberFire's models project him for 22.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, 8.9 assists, 1.7 steals, 0.4 blocks, and 1.4 3-pointers over the rest of the season.
