Pistons' Blake Griffin undergoes knee surgery, out indefinitely

Detroit Pistons forward/center Blake Griffin underwent surgery on his left knee, the team announced.

What It Means:

Griffin will undergo an "extended rehab" and doesn't have a timetable to return. He's already missed 19 games and there's a strong possibility the procedure sidelines him until next season. Look for Christian Wood to gain the most. Sekou Doumbouya could also get more opportunity for a team likely turning to a rebuild.

Blake was averaging 15.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.5 3-pointers, and 26.1 FanDuel points in 18 games this season.
