Magic's Al-Farouq Aminu (knee) undergoes surgery, to be reevaluated in 12 weeks
Orlando Magic forward Al-Farouq Aminu will be reevaluated in about three months after receiving an operation to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee.
That timeline would make the earliest possible return for Aminu somewhere in mid-April at best. And with the Magic well outside the playoff picture currently, there's a very good chance he doesn't play again until the start of the 2020-21 season.
In 18 games this season, Aminu averaged 4.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 15.3 FanDuel points.
