Marcus Smart scores a career-high 37 points, makes franchise-record 11 3-pointers in Celtics' loss on Saturday
Boston Celtics point guard Marcus Smart produced 37 points, 8 assists, 5 rebounds, 4 steals, and 1 turnover in a 119-123 loss the Phoenix Suns on Saturday.
With Kemba Walker out on Saturday, Smart stepped up in a big way, but it wasn't enough to push the Celtics past the Suns. Smart shot 13-of-25 from the field, 11 of which came from behind the arc, leading to a new Celtics franchise record and a career-high 37 points. Smart also led Boston in assists and steals in what was likely the best offensive game of his career. Next up for Smart and Boston is a clash with the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday.
Smart scored 66 FanDuel points on Saturday. Our models expect him to play 31.8 minutes and score 25.7 FanDuel points against the Lakers.
