Enes Kanter (hip) expected out for Celtics until Tuesday
Boston Celtics center Enes Kanter (right hip contusion) is expected to miss the next two games.
Kanter had already been ruled out for Friday's game against the Orlando Magic. It looks like he will also miss Sunday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. The Celtics' next game after that is on Tuesday versus the Miami Heat. Daniel Theis should see a boost with Kanter unavailable. He's averaging 10.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.2 steals, 2.0 blocks, and 1.0 triples over the last five games.
Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Celtics-Magic game has the lowest over/under on Friday's 11-game slate.
