Deandre Ayton (ankle) unlikely to play for Suns on Wednesday
Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton (left ankle) is not expected to play on Wednesday against the Golden State Warriors, per head coach Monty Williams.
Ayton is listed as questionable on the injury report, but it sounds like the Suns intend to have him sit out the final two games before the break. Aron Baynes (hip) and Dario Saric (ankle) have both been ruled out, so Cheick Diallo should be in line for heavy minutes. Diallo scored 15 points (7-of-9 field goals) with 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 block on Monday with Ayton sidelined.
Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Suns have an implied total of 116.75 points on Wednesday's 11-game slate.
